TechnoMarine has always had a captivating appeal. Since it was founded in 1997, the well-loved rebel of luxury watch brands has steadfastly refused to conform to tradition. When TechnoMarine founder Franck Dubarry first introduced his controversial chronograph on a translucent plastic strap, boldly challenging convention watch companies had adhered to for centuries. The conservative watch industry aptly claimed that he had no regard for traditional style. “This is not the way to do it,” they protested. “Nobody will buy it.” But they were exorbitantly mistaken.
